WEST Devon-based children's charity CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) this week announced that their annual winter ball will now take place at Boringdon Park Golf Club on Saturday January 22, 2011. The change of venue was forced by a fire at the Holiday Inn, Plymouth recently.

Jenny Paton, regional fundraising manager, said: 'We still have tickets available as sadly some guests are unable to make the new January 22 date, so we need your support now, more than ever.'
