A PAINTING that set two women on a 'voyage of discovery' was launched at the Tamar Valley Centre in Drakewalls last Wednesday.
The artist, JMW Turner's 'Crossing The Brook' inspired Diana Cook (left) and Dorothy Kirk, both of whom share a love of the landscape and history of the Tamar Valley to join forces in producing a book on his work there.
They painstakingly researched the detail of Turner's painting to identify surviving architecture in the original work.
