THE fourth annual Dartmoor Yomp saw hundreds of people trek across rugged Dartmoor terrain, raising money for a military charity.
Two hundred and ten people, including ex service men and women, walked 12 miles from Princetown to Bickleigh Camp to raise money for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
Dartmoor Yomp organiser Yorkie Malone said: 'It was an absolutely wonderful event. The last three years we have done it in glorious sunshine, but this year it was back to typical Dartmoor weather, but it didn't put anyone off.'
Last year the yomp raised more than £10,000 for the Royal Marines' Charitable Trust Fund. This year's total is not yet known as money is still being collected.
The yomp is expected to take place on September 21 and 22 next year.
