TWO exciting games between four of the newest teams to Tavistock netball league took place last Sunday.
The first game was between league newcomers SSG and Dodgers. The match was extremely close, with SSG taking a marginal lead by the end of the first half.
The second half saw continued strong shooting from SSG with the final score finishing SSG 35 Dodgers 23. Nominated players SSG Sue Speakman (GS) Dodgers J Shipton (WD).
The second game between Red Devils and Blue Angels was again a closely fought game. Red Devils took an early lead, but good shooting and defending from both teams meant there was little to separate the two sides. Final score: Blue Angels 8 Red Devils 16. Nominated players: Blue Angels Becca Hutton (WA), Red Devils Zoe Gerrish (GK).
