WALKERS who would like to learn how to use a GPS are being invited to join the Moorland Guides on a walk this Sunday.
This event is an introduction into the use of a GPS and its several functions.
Walkers may bring their own GPS but teaching will be carried out on a Garmin E Trex, one of which will be available for walkers' use on the day.
To better understand how a GPS works, participants would benefit from a basic knowledge of map and compass skills.
Walkers should meet at the High Moorland Visitor Centre, Princetown at 10am.
The cost is £20 and booking is essential. Waterproof clothing is advised.
