WEST Devon author Rebecca Tope will be returning to the area to celebrate the launch of four new paperback releases in her West Country mystery series at Book Stop, Tavistock, at 10.30am on Friday, June 15.
Rebecca Tope is best known for her popular Cotswold mystery series, featuring house-sitter Thea Osborne and spanning 10 books so far. Rebecca, who now lives in Hertfordshire, grew up in Bratton Clovelly and went to school in Okehampton, while most of her family remains in the area.
Now her readers can also enjoy another line of mysteries set in Devonshire countryside. Written before the Cotswold series all seven of the titles will be of interest to her readers as the books feature characters that have made appearances in the Cotswolds series and may help answer questions on the life and strife of Thea Osborne.
Allison and Busby publishers released three titles earlier in the year, 'A Market for Murder', 'Grave Concerns' and 'The Sting of Death' but have now reissued 'Dark Undertakings', 'Death of a Friend', 'A Dirty Death' and 'A Death to Record', completing the set of mysteries. Some are set in the area between Okehampton and Tavistock.
