A NUMBER of talented musicians will be performing tonight (Thursday), at The Wharf in Tavistock.

The event will include a premiere for performer and composer Jaemus Downing's Song and Lullaby on a Bareback Ride, setting the poem by Chris Burchell to music and sung by soprano Rosemary Turner.

Other musicians performing at the event include solo guitarist George Nixs, and the six piece Irish folk band, Professor Johnson.

The event will start at 8pm.
