DELEGATES travelled from across the South West to attend 'An Introduction to Musical Futures' CPD training delivered by Tavistock College's head of music Sarah Pappin in partnership with Okehampton College and Coombeshead Academy.

A key part of the day was a practical workshop session led by Year 8 music department lead learners Tei Daratsa, Issac Miller, Amiee Chappell, Caleb Prouse and Tom Cotter.

A spokesperson for the college said: 'The students were outstanding ambassadors for the college and the day was hailed an overwhelming success.

'One of the many comments from delegates included "An inspirational course in a lovely college with such talented students".'

Tavistock College is one of only 30 schools across the country to be recognised as a Musical Futures Champion School.
