AN evening of music and comedy is being held at Brentor Village Hall this Saturday (September 27) in aid of charity Home-Start, assisting families in West Devon. Local performers David Crocker and Ray Stenning have formed, along with one or two other guests, to put on a show which starts at 7.30pm. The audience can expect famous songs of Michael Flanders and Donald Swann. People are invited to bring their own drinks and nibbles for the cabaret style event. The Home-Start Charity has been supporting families in West Devon for several years and has helped numerous families in difficult situations. The charity requires funds in order to be able to assist families it would like to support, and the concert has been planned to assist the charity with its work.
