THE sixth formers at Mount House School, who have won scholarships to the schools they will move to when they leave at the end of this term, enjoyed an action-packed two-day visit to London.
As well as taking in the main tourist attractions, including Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, they also had the chance to see how the construction of the stadium for the 2012 Olympic Games in East London is progressing.
After a swift 'sight-seeing tour', courtesy of the London Eye, they enjoyed the outdoor entertainments in Covent Garden before visiting the Globe Theatre in Southwark to see a performance of 'Much Ado About Nothing'.
