BOTH Mount House School U9 netball teams played away matches against Kelly College in poor weather conditions, and came away with one win and one draw. The U9s A team threw themselves into their game with great enthusiasm and spirit despite the rain, and were a goal up in the first minute. This set the pattern for the match, with the Mount House girls proving too fast and positive for their inexperienced opponents. The shooting practice that the girls have concentrated on was rewarded with a resounding 14-0 victory. The B team match was an altogether closer encounter and a credit to both teams in the rainy conditions. Mount House's Ella and Alice Woolcock dominated the centre court, and created several scoring opportunities. They were unable to convert any of the chances, and the game ended in a goalless draw.
