MOUNT House U13s hockey tournament was won by the hosts' first seven, who won every match they played in an exciting competition.
Mount House won all of its first round matches, beating St Michael's 4-0, Truro 2-1 and Exeter Cathedral School B 1-0 to qualified for the cup competition.
In the first cup Mount completed a double over Exeter Cathedral School by beating their A team 2-1. The second match, against Truro School resulted in a 2-0 victory. The last game against Blundell's saw Issy Cox give the hosts the lead but it was Emma Jackman who was outstanding in the Mount goal who saved the game. Tournament runners-up to Mount House were Exeter Cathedral School, and St Michael's Prep School from Barnstaple won the plate competition.
For Mount House, Lucy Walliker and Francesca Thornton-Wood scored four goals each. Other scorers were Lizzie Fearnley with two, Issy Cox and Elsa Kent. Lizzie and Tabitha Unsworth-White were outstanding in midfield, and Izzy Kidner probably played her best-ever hockey,
