CAN someone please explain why motorists are still being held up on the A386 Tavistock to Plymouth road by cyclists, not just road racers, but families on a day out.

Our council has spent millions on a dedicated cycle route, which is NOT being used.

This money could have been spent repairing our badly potholed roads, which are now making cycling even more dangerous, as they swerve to miss potholes by the verge, putting overtaking motorists at risk.

Maybe a cycling toll needs to be put in place if they want to use the highway, when a dedicated cycle path is available, this money could be used to help repair the roads.
