MORE appointments have been made available at West Devon Citizens Advice Bureau's Tavistock office.

The bureau has increased the number of appointment slots available at its office at Kingdon House due to the increase in demand for services.

Appointments can now be booked from 10am to noon on Mondays and Fridays and between 10am and 2pm on Wednesdays.

The drop-in service is still available between noon and 2pm on Mondays and Fridays to deal with emergency problems.

Barbara Osborne, bureau manager, said: 'These changes will help us meet people's needs for advice and help to reduce the time people spend in our waiting room.

'During opening hours our telephone helpline will also be available for an initial advice assessment.'
