WEST Devon's Green Ribbon Appeal has been boosted by a further £125 — thanks to the generosity of all those who attended West Devon Mayor Robin Pike's Civic Service.
West Devon Borough Council launched the appeal at the height of the foot and mouth crisis earlier this year — and has raised almost £300.
The money will go to the Devon Community Federation, a charity helping local communities at grass roots level.
Already the foundation has made awards to farming families, small businesses, and community groups affected by the crisis.
