FURTHER to the letter from Gary Spicer re the empty buildings on the approach to the town (April 10, 'What an eyesore they are'). Come a little further into the town centre and there stands what was a much loved rest room. Until a little over five years ago, this unique meeting place for older people was in constant use six days a week. It is now still empty getting to look more and more shabby and neglected.
