TEIGN Valley?s Barry Austin captured a magnificent five-stroke victory in the hastily rearranged Devon PGA Medal at Dartmouth.
Due to the appalling weather at Libbaton, the event was rearranged to Dartmouth and Barry?s winning score of three under par 69 was outstanding in occasional snow showers and freezing conditions.
Two players tied for the runner-up position on 74, Okehampton?s Ashley Moon and Hele Park?s David Jeffs.
The professionals found the Dartmouth course to be in outstanding condition.
