MEN across West Devon have embraced the Movember movement to raise awareness and money for men's health causes.

Every year thousands of men up and down the country grow a moustache during November to support 'Movember', a movement aiming to raise awareness and fund programmes working to improve the lives of men affected by prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues.

Men across the area grew the lip-tickling facial hair to show their support for those suffering with such issues.

Among the major events in the area to support the initiative was the Movember Festival at The Rock Inn in Yelverton on November 29.

Organised by the band Orangutan Wheelbarrow, this was the third year the gig had taken place at the pub, attracting big crowds year on year to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
