AT the last meeting of the U3A, members had an interesting talk with slides from Jim Williams and his wife, on the wonderful work of the Mission Aviation Fellowship. The next meeting is on Wednesday, October 25 when Ron Norman will talk about the National Trust and how they prepare the houses for the winter, a much larger task than most realise. Meetings are on the last Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm in the Ockment Centre, North Street, and anyone is welcome, you do not need to be a member.
