ZEAL should have had this game wrapped up by half time but as in previous weeks good chances were squandered leaving Zeal with only a point from a game they dominated.
In the first half although having most of territorial advantage Zeal only created a few half chances with Sidbury constantly dangerous on the break and the two teams turned round for the second half drawing 0-0.
In the second half after a short period of domination by the away side Zeal created five good chances without converting one of them until Harley Cann broke down the right and hit in a great cross that Tom Reilly converted with a well placed header.
Sidbury drew level 10 minutes later when one of Sidbury's midfielders hit low shot that went in off the post giving Adam Cann in the Zeal goal no chance.
Zeal then created enough chances to win the game easily but could not find the finish and were fortunate in the end to get a point when a rare Sidbury attack resulted in a penalty that was well saved by Adam Cann. However, even if they had scored from the spot kick it would have been disallowed by the referee for encroachment.
This Saturday Sidbury away KO 2.30pm.
