Plymouth and West Devon division one

Ordulph 2

THE Ordulph wasted a great chance to move four points clear of third placed Lee Moor after throwing away a two goal lead to draw. The Ordulph got off to a great start as Phillpotts played in Sherrell who smashed home the opener.

The visitors went 2-0 up with a freak goal when

goalkeeper Ashley Woodrow scored direct from a free kick in his own half. Paul Gliddon then hit the post for the Ordulph before the break. After half-time Ordulph never turned up and Lee Moor hit back within five minutes of the restart. With their backs against the wall, the Ordulph had Ashley Woodrow to thank for staying ahead. Lee Moor did equalise with

10 minutes remaining heading home from a corner.

Sherrell should have won in for the visitors in stoppage time when through on goal

only for an excellent one on one from the home keeper. This result left manager Kev Murphy regretting two dropped points.
