THE home side needed a win to guarantee they finished top of the league and fielded a strong side.
Tavistock on the other hand were looking to consolidate third place.
Once the game got underway Mini M's made all the early running as the Tavistock defence of Mills, Passmore, Viggers and George realised they were in for a long evening.
Although trying to exert a hold on the game in midfield, the middle two of Alford and Macmanus were unable to kickstart Tavistock's normal passing game.
Mini M's took the lead after 15 minutes when Tavistock failed to clear the ball as an oncoming striker cut through to poke the ball past 'keeper Osbourne.
Shortly after they doubled their lead following a mazey dribble on the left allowed the player to cut the ball back to the far post for a simple tap in.
Tavistock started the second half with more purpose as Gaspar went close with a shot. Macmanus almost scored a fine solo goal but his final shot lacked power.
Mini M's wrapped up the game and the league title with their third goal near the end of the match, a firm cross from the left that was well converted.
Tavistock have one more game remaining in which they will look to secure third spot.
