TAVISTOCK's year nine had much of the first half possession and Tom Wright and Luke Moody produced various chances on goal. However, Tavistock failed to convert any of these opportunities and the first half ended 0-0. A double substitution allowing Aaron Johnson and Luke Shalgosky to make an impact and Tavistock started the second half stronger and scored a well-taken goal from Tom Wright.

Tavistock added a second goal from a David Milligan free kick before a late goal from Sir John Hunt led to Oli Cox sustaining an injury and Tavistock played with 10 for the last five minutes.

Sir John Hunt pushed forward late on and Josh Birch almost scored for Tavistock — his shot hitting the bar.
