LAST Wednesday evening saw the third event of the Okehampton Cycling Club summer time trial series on the old A30 road from Bridestowe to Lewdown and back. With good warm dry conditions a field of ten cyclists from Okehampton and Tavistock turned up looking to improve their times. Mike Cory maintained his good form by being fastest on the night, clocking a time of 28 minutes, 14 seconds, followed by Dan Pierce on 28.42.
