I HAVE signed up (again) for a unique power walking marathon that raises money for the fight against breast cancer.
I will be taking part in the 2003 Playtex Moonwalk, the world?s only power walking marathon that starts at midnight, in London, on May 10.
This is no ordinary marathon as participants complete the marathon, quite appropriately, in decorated bras.
I will be joining a crowd of 15,000 women (plus 1,000 brave men) uniting together against breast cancer.
The 2003 Playtex Moonwalk will be the sixth such event.
Since it began, the Playtex Moonwalk has raised in excess of £5-million.
The event is organised by and in aid of the health charity Walk the Walk, which supports the fight against breast cancer by granting its funds raised to Breakthrough Breast Cancer for research and the Bristol Cancer Help Centre for cancer care.
If you would like to sponsor me for this event, please telephone 01822 614874 or send an email to [email protected]">[email protected]
