THE Riding Club show jumping qualifiers were held at Polson, Launceston. The team from Mid Devon Riding Club won the senior open class, earning themselves a place at the riding club championships in Lincoln in September. The team consisted of Jennie Humphry with Regina Lyng, Vicky Cook, riding Something About Rupert, Caroline Friend with Epic Landmark and Marie Ewen on Winnie Bago. Marie Ewen also competed as an individual on Plume of Feathers. Jennie Humphry was the highest placed individual, with Caroline Friend placed second, Vicky Cook placed fourth and Marie Ewen placed fifth on Winnie Bago and sixth on Plume of Feathers. In the senior style class Alison Sizmur, also riding for Mid Devon Riding Club on her horse Red, was placed second.
