Mid Devon Pony Club tetrathletes  finished first and second in the intermediate class at the South Devon Moorland's competition last weekend. In their final outing before the area qualifiers, Lottie Trerise and Rosa Malseed did brilliantly to produce a 'one two' for the club. Braving Saturday's rain and wind at Bovey Tracey's outdoor pool, Lottie had the best swim in her class while Rosa finished the day with a personal best run. On Sunday at Holwell Lawn, they both rode with great style, Rosa having a clear round and Lottie just one stop. The results show them coming into form in good time for the area competition when their aim is to qualify for the national championships. In the novice junior class, Kim Stanton finished fourth after a fantastic shoot score of 960 out of 1,000. She also managed a clear round over the cross country course, while team mate Tiffany Parrott shot personal best score. The girls teamed up with two girls from the Banwell PC and their team finished in second place. The novice mini class had 25 entries and Charly Mould did well to finish in fifth place. She had the second best shoot in the class and came up with a PB swim. Riding her pony Mathew in competition for the first time, she did really well over a testing course that only produced five clear rounds.
