CUBE Theatre will be appearing at Callington CAVe on February 3 with their performance of 'Geppetto'.

In New York's lower east side, in the middle of the 1950s, a teenage girl answers a hastily scrawled, grubby advert on a whim. It invites her to audition for the role of puppeteer in a forthcoming production of 'Pinocchio'.

Using two performers, combining Cube's trademark electric dialogue with mesmerising puppetry, 'Geppetto' is a heart-rending, but often hilarious story of a broken man's obsessive search for his own puppet-boy, and how the chance pairing of an odd couple offers them both a glimpse of something lost and something to be yet found.

The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £7.50 for adults, £6 for under 16s and £21 for a family ticket (2+2). It is not suitable for children of primary school age.

Geppetto will follow an afternoon performance of Pinocchio to pupils from Callington and Stoke Climsland primary schools.
