FOR two years Devon Social Services and the Primary Care Trust has jointly funded a Memory Café based at The Anchorage Centre in Tavistock, for people with dementia and their carers.
Each session has 'professionals' supported by volunteers and is structured to stimulate and motivate those with memory loss and support those caring for them.
Andy Lyle, Tavistock Area Support Service's general manager, said: 'The café has made a huge difference to so many through the activities offered.'
