A ROYAL Navy Chief Petty Officer from Bere Alston was introduced to the Queen at the Trafalgar 200 celebrations at Portsmouth last Friday. CPO Stuart McQueen has been in the Navy for 39 years, 35 of them on submarines. He was chosen from volunteers to attend the celebrations along with four others from his submarine, HMS Talent. He said he was amazed to be at the reception in the Trafalgar Museum with five Admirals of the Fleet at the same time.
