RESIDENTS from Burrator are being invited to apply for the three vacancies on the parish council. The vacancies are to be filled by Burrator residents or people living within a three-mile radius of the parish — providing they have resided in the area for more than 12 months. The parish council will be holding a 'meet the parish council' event on Saturday, February 2 at Meavy Parish Hall between 2pm and 4pm. Free tea, coffee and cakes will be available for anyone wishing to drop in to see what the council is all about.
