IT's that time again (oh yes it is!) when pantomania strikes Belstone and this year it's in the form of Jack and the Beanstalk. So go along to their Village Hall if you want the answers to all those questions that you'd like to ask but have never dared to!
Such as: 'Does the wicked Squire really work for the Giant?
'What does Lucy Lastick see in a boy like Jack Trott?' And 'What does a "modern" fairy look like?'
All the regular mayhem and magic that audiences have come to expect from Belstone Players is contained in this production, written and directed by Edwina Hill and starring all the usual thespian suspects, along with large chorus of ghosts, ghouls villagers and milkpersons!
Performances are in Belstone Village Hall, Fridays February 25 and March 4, Saturdays February 26 and March 5. Evening performances 7.30pm. Saturday matinees 2.30pm. Bar at all evening performances opens 7pm.
Tickets £5 from Marion Walpole on 01837 840498.
