A MEMORIAL football tournament to raise funds for the Children's Hospice South West takes place at Plymouth's Millbay Park this month.

The match, kicking off at 2pm on Sunday, August 12, will see Bar?Rakuda and The Navy Inn compete for the Kimberley Stacey Memorial Cup — Kimberley, of Liskeard, underwent multiple major operations after being diagnosed with a rare brain and spinal cancer in December 2009. Sadly, she died in September last year.

Organisers of the memorial match, at which all are welcome, are seeking businesses to donate prizes that will boost the fundraising. Please contact Sandra Bunt on 07789 212928 if you can help.
