Plymouth Mount Wise
v Tavistock U15s
TAVISTOCK playing with only nine men opened the batting with Jesse Sandhis and Rob Grove, and both did well to see off the two quick Plymouth opening bowlers.
A wicket brought Henry Kisby to crease and himself and Sandhis quickly upped the run rate. Kisby fell for 17 and this introduced Jamie Stephens who soon began to take his attack to the Plymouth bowlers. Sandhis was eventually bowled for a gutsy knock of 30. Kieran Alford joined Stephens at the crease and he made his intentions clear as he hit a six from the first ball he faced.
Stephens and Alford continued to keep the score board ticking over for Tavistock and two late wickets meant that Tavistock finished their innings on 101 for 5 off 20 overs.
Tavistock opened the bowling with Henry Kisby and Will Smith conceding just 27 runs off the first eight overs. Kisby made the breakthrough as he superbly caught and bowled the Plymouth opening bat and quickly followed that up by taking another wicket.
Tavistock's fielding was excellent with every catching chance taken. Jamie Stephens picked up two wickets for 14 runs and Mason picked up three wickets for just 11 runs.
With Plymouth requiring a large number of runs off the last four overs, David Milligan and Kieran Alford both bowled tight to the stumps which left Plymouth on 86 for 8 off 20 overs. Tavistock won the game by 15 runs.

Plymstock B v Tavistock
HENRY Kisby opened the bowling for Tavistock and bowled tight to the stumps conceding few runs. In the sixth over he brilliantly bowled the Plymstock opener.
Plymstock to their credit continued to bat well and were gifted runs in the field at regular intervals as Tavistock's fielding was not up to their usual high standards. Jamie Stephens and Tom Cummins were brought on to bowl and managed to slow the Plymstock run rate down as both bowled accurately and picked up two wickets each. Plymstock ended up with a total of 106 for 6 off 20 overs.
Tavistock openers Tom Cummins and Jesse Sandhis took their attack to the Plymstock bowlers immediately. A wicket brought Jamie Stephens to the crease and himself and Cummins continued to bat well, with Cummins in particular playing some delightful shots all around the ground.
Stephens eventually fell for 15 but Cummins continued to bat well for the visitors and aided by a quick fire 15 from Charlie Huish was pushing Tavistock towards the total they required. Plymstock though did not give in and took three wickets in the space of four overs.
Cummins eventually fell for a superb 59 and it was left to Kieran Alford and Henry Kisby to hit the winning runs with overs to spare. Tavistock won the game by four wickets.
