MEAVY Primary School played in the Tavistock Area Small Schools football tournament at Gulworthy and did well. First they played Gulworthy themselves and and won 1-0. The second group match for Meavy also ended up with a winning score of 1-0. Then they play Lamerton and beat them 5-0. Meavy (pictured left) were now in the final, where they played Milton Abbot. Meavy scored first but Milton Abbot pulled a goal back to end the game 1-1. It was decided to share the cup. A well done to the boys who played so well for Meavy and all those who took part in the tournament.
