SEVERAL good scores were recorded in the Okehampton Golf Club?s annual President?s Day competition.
Club president, Ken Marsh, was in attendance to see the players off and present the prizes in the evening.
The President?s cup winner was Martin Cox (handicap 7) with 35 points (scratch), from the runner-up and winner of the handicap shield Malcolm Hill with 41 pts.
Winner of division 1 with 39 points was Steve Blackmur on the back 9 from Jim Butcher. Winner of division 2 with 40 points was Dennis Jenkins and runner-up with 39 points was Den Adams.
Division 3 was won by Mike Madley on the back nine from Graham Milford with 37 points.
The ladies? President?s salver was won by Mrs Lynn Hazelton with a creditable 42 points followed by Mrs Dawn Phillott with 39.
