MARTIN Rodgers a member of the estate staff at Anglers Paradise in Halwill Junction caught a new record fish in the shape of this 36lb 4oz from the Nirvana Kracking Carp day ticket lake.

Martin caught the fish on bait supplied by Cornwall baits and was the only fish in the 48 hour session.

This is the sixth 30lb carp caught this year from the lake.
