THE organising team of the Halwill Community Market have expressed thanks to everyone who supported them on Saturday September 18.

The market was run especially to raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust. The profits and money raised from the raffle, the stallholders and visitors, including donations, totalled £300.

All the profits from the market, which is held on the second Saturday monthly, are usually donated to organisations within Halwill, but this month organisers wished to make it a bit special.

They said it was a 'wonderful morning' with generous support from the stallholders and local communities.

The date of the next market is October 9.
