A BIG breakfast and produce market will be held on Saturday, October 13 by Exbourne and Jacobstowe Community Association. The October market will be followed by a traditional harvest supper in the evening. The market, in the village hall, will be selling local produce, including fresh vegetables, preserves and fruity treats, pork, dairy produce and other products to tickle the taste buds. The association will also be celebrating the apple season by including apple stalls, apple games, tastings of local cider, and it will also be holding its first ever apple pie competition. Entry details are available from the village hall. Tickets to the event cost £4.50 per adult and £2.50 per child, and are available from the association?s shop or from Sally on 01837 851646, from Monday, October 1. Tickets are limited. The evening will begin with a short thanksgiving and then a supper of fresh local produce and farm cider will be served.
