TAVISTOCK started by pressing the opposition with their 'three touch game' for the first five minutes.
However they then found themselves restricted in their own half and had it not been for man of the match Jamie Montgomery in goal they would have been at least five goals behind at the break.
In the second half Tavistock attacked and took the pressure of their own defence which led to an own goal by and a Marine Academy player.
This then prompted an away team onslaught parried by Jamie Court, Dean Southcott in particular with assistance from Joel Blatchford, Chris Hoar and Scott Doidge — and more saves from Jamie Montgomery.
Marine Academy continued to shoot, the defence and the bar continued to save Tavistock and the final whistle came with much relief and a home team victory.
