MAY I through your paper, say a heartfelt thank you to all our friends and relatives, who braved snow and ice to help us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We would also like to express our gratitude for their generosity in supporting our chosen charity. We were delighted to be able to present the Devon Air Ambulance with £944.
Thanks must also go to Lisa Hair from Dukes and her team of staff who soldiered on through a power-cut. It is a credit to them that the event proceeded and to the incredible support of the villagers who volunteered the use of their non-electric cookers.
It was through the help of these people, that what could have been a disaster, became an absolute success and we are extremely grateful to them all.
