ONE fire appliance from Yelverton was mobilised to a report of a person who had collapsed and was trapped approximately 3ft deep in a ditch at 12.35pm today (Monday, February 22).

Fire crews assisted paramedics in rescuing one male casualty from the ditch at Pencreber Road, Horrabridge, who was then transported to hospital by ambulance.
