OKEHAMPTON Golf club played a four ball better ball competition on Saturday in great conditions considering the time of year and recent weather conditions.
The winners of division one were Malcolm Hill and Kevin Cornwall with 45 points; second on the back three were Paul Skidmore and Del Owen with 43pts from Paul and Jonny Rattenbury, who beat David Keir and John Leonard on the back nine also with 43pts.
The winners of division two were Jim Morey and Dennis Jenkins with a great 46 points; second with 43pts were Rob Camies and Barry Down and they were one point in front of Dave Wooldridge and Adrian Rice with 42 pts; fourth also with 42pts were Dave Shilston and Will Searle.
