RESIDENTS in Calstock, Harrowbarrow and Gunnislake are being encouraged to visit regular police surgeries if they have any issues of concern affecting them or their communities.

Neighbourhood beat manager Joy Stoppard and police community support officer Jo Addems are working with residents and agencies such as housing authorities, neighbourhood watch and local councils to reduce crime and find solutions for community issues that people bring to their attention.

Monthly police surgeries take place in Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall between 3pm and 4pm on Thursday July 8, August 12, September 23, October 21 and November 25.

There will be surgeries in Calstock Village Hall between 10am and 11am on July 15 and August 19 and also in Gunnislake Car Park every month. The dates are published on the Devon and Cornwall police website and in village magazines. A sandwich board is also placed outside the venues on the morning of the surgeries.
