I WOULD like to thank the two gentlemen from the Tavistock Lions Club who, early on Sunday morning (July 7), were tidying up the traffic island near Bishopsmead on the Plymouth Road.

If more able-bodied people were willing to give up a few minutes every now and then to tidy up areas, what a difference it would make.
