AN evening for women in the area to relax, reflect and support one another is being held in Chagford at St Michael’s Church.
The church is holding ‘Springs of Living Waters’ evenings for women to come and make friends. The scheme is now in its second year and holds around four meetings a year with guest speakers.
Each evening begins with time to meet and chat over a drink and some light food. The group then leads into some worship with their band during which time guests are free to sit, stand, singalong or not.
After the speaker there is a quiet time when guests are able to receive prayer ministry in confidence, to visit a prayer station or simply to sit and listen to the gentle music and song from the band.
The next speaker is Tania Vaughan on Monday, October 5 at St Michael’s Church. The event starts with refreshments from 7pm and the talk and programme from 7.30pm to 9pm.
