AWARD winning tuba-euphonium ensemble 'Tubalate' bring their unusual and dynamic brass chamber music to Peter Tavy Village Hall on Saturday February 17 at 7.30pm.

Tubalate promote the dynamic development of brass chamber music, presenting familiar music contrasted with exciting new commissions.

They have commissioned works from many composers generating a repertoire which is innovative and unique.

Tubalate's most prestigious performance was for Prince Charles' 50th birthday celebrations hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

They have also performed at the Purcell Room and the Barbican Centre in London and the Waterfront Hall in Belfast.

The ensemble is part of the Live Music Now! scheme, which was founded by the late Lord Yehudi Menuhin and they have broadcast a live concert for BBC Radio 3's Brian Kay Show from the Dorking Halls, Surrey.
