A POPULAR West Devon fair will be returning to delight families this weekend, and is set to be bigger and better than ever.

After the success of last year, the Milton Abbot Cherry Fair has got even more activities to entertain people this year.

The fun dog show is back by popular demand, sponsored by Castle Vets, and a free grooming session will be given to the best in show winner, donated by Animal Magic Grooming.

A host of activities will be on offer, including a tug of war, a cherry spit, a greasy pole, pony rides, juggling demonstrations, face painting, chocolate tombola and many local stalls and a grand raffle.

Tavistock Round Table members will be providing entertainment with pantomime horse racing and the traditional Cherry Tree Auction will be held courtesy of Endsleigh Garden Centre, who have donated a tree.

Refreshments and a bar will be available all day and cream teas will be served in the lovely Vicarage Gardens.

The Milton Abbot Cherry Fair will take place this Saturday (July 17) from 11am onwards, on the green behind St Constantine Church.
