IF you like sacred and choral music you will, we are sure, have attended some or all of the recitals and concerts given by the Exon Singers this last week during their annual festival.

What a joy and pleasure it was to hear wonderful music performed with such exuberance, quality and purity. We are so lucky to have such talent performing in our midst.

So, well done Exon and thank you for giving us so much pleasure. And thanks also to St Eustachius for providing a beautiful and moving setting.

For those of you who missed the programme or who do not know of the Exon Singers, a real treat has passed you by. But, do not despair — Exon will return in 2010 for their next festival between Tuesday July 27 and Sunday August 1. Make a note in your diary now. We certainly have.
