BERE ALSTON Village Hall will play host to a rare performance from four-piece band Stretch, featuring flavours of rock, punk, blues, new wave and even gospel.
Stretch comprises 'Razor Blade' on guitar and vocals, Ian Cooke 'The Books' also on guitar and vocals, 'Fingers McCauley' on bass and Chris 'Cross' Moss on drums.
The musicians have known each other for around 20 years, but at a mutual friend's wake they decided to form a band. Stretch were first seen performing at the Dartmoor Jailbreak event earlier this year at the Plume of Feathers in Princetown. Their performance of Larry Wallis' 1978 release Police Car later put out on YouTube has received much acclaim and has led to some national recognition and two major support offers in the coming months.
For the concert, Stretch will also be joined by The Devilriders. The event takes place on Saturday, September 29 at Bere Alston Village Hall.
For more information visit the band's Facebook page by searching for StretchUK. Tickets are being sold at the chemist and butchers in Bere Alston.
